People who don't pay attention while they walk, are you one of them?

When I'm walking about, say to the supermarket, I force myself to look at the ground to see any obstacles while walking, other than that, if I let myself wander inside my head, I suddenly could find myself twisting an ankle over a bump, or be bruised by some nasty thing on the ground. I happen to live in a place where supermarkets are crappy, but still, when I have a lot on my head, like an exam, I walk to the sky, so to speak, eager to get home, or get to the coffee shop to study. Problem is every year I suffer a very minor injury because of this (scrape, cut, bruised foot), while I'm the only one around with this problem, it seems. Does this happen to you ? I feel guilty because I 'am this way, but I describe myself, I concluded, as an energetic girl with a lot on her mind. That's the main problem, slowing down my head while walking, rather than having walking stimulate my thoughts even further that I don't pay attention any more. Also I would DEFINITELY like to move somewhere where the cost of living DECREASES from here in LA, California. I want to rent cheap so I can save more money and eventually look into us buying when we find a place we can see ourselves staying. From my understanding, South Beach is lovely but pricey. I then splashed a little bit on the back to make her feel a bit more comfortable. Then try pulling them through the water evenly. If you make any abrupt movements they will become scared and tense up which will cause them to sink a bit in the water which will make them not want to swim anymore. MAKE SURE YOU ALWAYS SUPPORT THEIR NECK, HEAD, AND BACK.When he gets a bit more relaxed you can try teaching him to do it alone. Remove your hands slowly and make it look like you're near him. My husband and I recently came to an agreement on an offer on a home. The house is 5 years old and we decided to do a home inspection for our safety. My husband was unable to attend the home inspection but I was able. When I arrived at the home the sellers were still inside and I felt very uncomfortable that I immediately called the realtor and told her. She called the sellers agent and told them they need to be gone from the home because its an awkward situation and when purchasing a home you need to be able to ask questions freely without offending the sellers. They said they would be gone by a certain time and when I returned the inspection was already over and the sellers were still inside. When talking to the inspector he said when they asked if they had to leave he told them no. He said the house was cluttered and he couldn't see everything. Okay, my son will be three next month and we have been working on potty training for a while now and he is doing much better. A few months ago he discovered that his penis gets erect if he touches it, in the bathtub. He would say things like look mama, "It's long" or "It's big" or "It's hard." It freaked me out a little at first, but I know that its normal for a boy to discover himself. A very tall 15 month old toddler?

My daughter is currently in the 98th percentile for heigh and 82nd percentile for weight for her age. She's 15 months old and darn near the size of the 3 year old. my 2 1/2 year old had what started out like a mosquitoe bite i guess. couple nights ago she woke up middle of the night whinning about her "booboo". but she was scratching it so i figured it was just a mosquito bite because she was outside the night before and, it felt like one. so i just rubbed the bump a little she went back to sleep. later that morning she said it was still itching so i put some witch hazel on it. that was the first time i had ever used witch hazel on her. couple hours later when she was playing i notice that it had turned into a blister. she said it hurt when it touched it. and i was wondering if maybe it was some other bug that bit her and was not a mosquito bite or maybe it was the witch hazel i put on it. when i checked it out again later that day it had popped. so i applyed some antibiotic ointment and a bandaid. so i have some pictures of what it looked like before and after the bilster popped. i have picture with the flash on and off. and i didnt crop so i hope they're clear enough to see. has anyone seen anything like this before and know what it might be? here is the link to the album http://s746.photobucket.com/albums/xx104/NicoleKi78/Nivie%20blister%20bite%20on%20leg/

My nearly 30 year old son is on a downward spiral. He has a history of prescription drug abuse. Now he is on a prescribed drug from some type of clinic that replaces the hydrocodone that he used to get illegally. He's also on zoloft for depression. He has lost everything, most recently his job of 4 years and his wife of 3 years. He takes advantage of friends and family, borrowing and never returning money and food. His landlord has just filed for eviction. I've been providing a car and insurance, and lately gas. Often I give him money or stock his fridge. His rental trailer is cluttered and dirty beyond description. He lives in a fantasy world of lies, failed plans, and unfulfilled promises. Many days he can't get out of bed. Usually he won't answer his cell phone which I also provide to him. I think my son is a suicide waiting to happen. I am at a loss for direction for him or me. I've been told that I should call police to report his lack of interest in life. I do not know what to do or not do. I am open for suggestions. I think the US needs to expand the coverage of our way of life, not to limit the amount of people exposed to our way of life. These students are not the big problem, it is the US busnese and companies. Greed runs and controls these operations and for a sum they will sell anything they can get their hands on to any person. They like to place fronts over these people who they know should not own these items so in their own way they are clean and above board. All of this in the name of profits, this makes them feel like the golden boys who help the needy. The J-20 was all American technology bought from Bosnia from a downed F-117 in 1998 I think it was. Bosnia sold parts of this craft to Russia and parts to China and these two nations built a spin off of the F-117 of the 1990's. The Bosnian government put the remainder of this aircraft on display in their country. China bought a wing, radio headset, part of the canopy and a few other parts. The F-117 was not a true stealth aircraft but it was the first generation of a new design. Now 13 years later China has flown a aircraft of the first generation stealth fighter. This is a very good airframe to be used against the small nations in Asia and to use as a intimidation tool. Would this work in a act of hostilities with a major power? You must decide this, this aircraft is the technology that is being phased out and the powers who are phasing this aircraft out know and understand all the limitations of this technology. Would you want to ride in a aircraft, putting your life on the line, if it was a Chinese knock off of the First Generation Fighter and you were going to be fighting the nation who developed this but were now flying the Fifth Generation Fighter? I would stick with the small Asian nations that I could scare or over power.

almost hive looking, she was on nursed, switched at 6 months to Enfamil Premium and did well. Her father was allergic to milk until he was 2. Knowing this I started the toddler formula with more milk protein. she broke out in the rash at that point then slowly with food with milk in it. I put her on Silk the last 2-3 weeks and that is when the rash spread over night. I told her Dr. we feel she is allergic to milk and she didn't have a concern. A cockroach in my room, please help!?

I came home at 11PM, I walked into the bathroom to.. well.. use the toilet. To my surprise, I glance over to the left seeing a LARGE light brown roach on the wall. (The ones that fly, oh no.) A nice cleaning was needed, and a roach in my room forced me to clean it. Still haven't found the roach. To make a long story short, it's almost 2AM, and I'm awake because I can't sleep knowing there could possibly be a large, gross, fast, flying roach in my room. I haven't looked in my closet.. it's cluttered with my way of cleaning my room. (Shoving stuff in there). What do I do? The thought of a roach being on my bed while I'm sleeping is NOT COOL. Sims 2: Toddler Twins Missing!!?

I made sure the dad was home and he was cleaning up around the house. I sent the twins to play with the activity table and the mom got invited on an outing so I sent her to leave. When the outing was done she came back and her kids were gone. Their pictures are still showing on the left, but they are all red even though I left them with full needs. I can't click on them and I cannot choose to take them somewhere or put them in the highchair or crib. Something wrong with my body?

I am a 5'2" 115lbs 18 year old girl and my knees have stretch marks and they get stiff. Why do my knees have stretch marks on them? Would losing weight help me knees not get stiff? I'm a teen, thought patterns have changed?

Hey I am 14, and I recently noticed that I become a little depressed at some point on most days, and I can't seem to shake it. Also, my mind feels kind of cluttered, and even though I can still think in a linear fashion, my brain, without me wanting it to, goes off on a bunch of tangents. I've also started thinking about why things are the way they are, how we know about certain things, and what humanity's place in the universe is. Also some things have started to seem like they don't matter, and all this is kind of scary because none of this has happened before. Is this all a natural part of growing up? Could it be because of changing brain chemistry that happens in adolescence? Should I see a psychiatrist? I just don't know.

The cooler is a great idea, a car full of whiny kids is no fun for them OR YOU. Pack blankets as well so your kids can cuddle up and snooze too. As for less clutter, be sure each kid (aside from the baby) has a small backpack or ditty bag that they can keep their gear in (the good is two fold your kids learn to clean up after themselves and they car stays cleaner). Also take some trash bags that yogurt cups, fruit rinds, and candy rappers can go into and be thrown away along the way.

not 100% sure as id have to see it but if you go to control panel and select folder options then click on the view tab and youll notice a box you can scroll down in the view panel. in there it will have a folder that says "hidden files and folders" with the radio button selected by default to "do not show hidden files and folders", select the one below it that says "show hidden files and folders". then hit apply and ok, and check to see if your folders are there.

Why can't older people be given the option of changing back to Classic mail.?

Many of my friends in their 70's find the new version of Yahoo Mail impossible to use. The layout is just far too confusing and difficult for the older mind to process. Fortunately, I clicked on the option to keep Classic, but a lot of my friends missed this , and are now stuck with New Yahoo, and there is no longer an option to change back to Classic. I have been appointed (as I am the only one still on Classic) to try to 'get them back onto the old mail' , they find the whole thing too cluttered, too much information, and even finding/using help option too difficult. Confused anxious sad mad nervous?

I'm 33 going on 34 weeks pregnant, I have placenta privea, and am waitin on my results for placenta accreta. I'm supposed to be on bedrest, but I'm taking care of two toddlers and have started my nesting phase hardcore. You should get a crib, you can find them at yard sales, places like good will, craigslist or just buy one new. they are not that expensive. If you are too cheap to buy a crib so that you know your child is safe at night, then you should probably rethink having a child. The weight limit should always be followed, that is another safety thing.

How can I wash my toddler's hair without traumatizing her?

My 15-month-old gets very upset when it's time to rinse her hair. I've tried several different techniques: laying her on a towel on the vanity and rinsing it in the sink, holding her in the shower, using the rag (but that doesn't work very well). We also have that rinse cup that has the rubber side you place on the child's forehead to keep the water out of her face, but she won't hold still. I don't want her to be afraid of baths/showers but she is and I don't know what else to do. She won't even sit and play in the tub anymore - she stands and holds onto the edge. He is going to be 3 in a few months. He spoke around 75 words by 24 months, then shortly after began combining 2 words together. He now speaks in 3-5 word sentences and has more single words than i can count. The concern is that when I hear him singing for example, he is so cute btw, he is singing let's say Barney... he will sing "i love you, you love me" blah blah blah, but he is kind of sticking his tongue out and it makes him sound strange. My 14 month old baby boy is starting to eat solids less and less every day. When he turned 12 months, he was only 18 lbs and the doctor put him on Pediasure. I personally enjoy using IMVU, a 3D messenger that requires a download but you can use free credits you earn to make your avatar look like your character and most of the time the community may be nice enough to buy you gifts if you have a wishlist built. I DO roleplay personally, and love it quite a bit. It allows me to relax and I play multiple characters at once.

I like horror shooters. My favorite is Clive Barker's Jericho. I love the gore and the creepy atmosphere in good horror games. Other examples would be Dead Space and Resident Evil 5. True Resident Evil can't really be classified as horror anymore, but I still love the monsters and creatures in those type of games. Makes for interesting combat instead of repetitive fire fights with other people.

Just curious for other stay at home mom's, what is a typical day for you. Divorce is probable; what can I expect the future to be like?

I'm 49 years old and been married for 23 years; we have 2 children (21 & 16); my wife decided 6 months ago that she's tired of being married, and she's thinking of filing for divorce. Her father's health is ailing, and I think her selfish mother is instigating all of this because she will need someone to take care of her when he dies. My mother-in-law has always used my wife because she knows my wife won't tell her "No" for anything. Over the years, she's had my wife attend 2 of her class reunions, alone; attend funerals and weddings for her, and she continues to have my wife run errands for her all the time. I've been super good to my wife for the past 6 months in an attempt to change her mind, only to have her continually treat me like crap. I can't help but to try, because I still love her, and I love my family, and I don't believe in divorce, unless there is a major reason for it. She moved in with a girlfriend a week or so ago, but she still comes home for sex. Last night when she was here I asked her to spend the night so we could try to work things out, but she wouldn't. I told her I was going to get my own apartment, and she's telling me it would cost us money for me to move out, and she already has a free place to stay. I don't like staying in this house because it's a little too cluttered for me, and she doesn't want me to get rid of things (she has always kept lots of stuff). She's a school teacher, and now she tells me she will be losing her job due to cutbacks. If things don't work out between us, which is a likely scenario, what can I expect the future to be like? Will it be difficult to find another partner in life at 50 years old? Will I be broke because my wife will soon be unemployed, and the courts will force me to support 2 households? I've always wanted what's best for my children, and I know this isn't it, but I don't know where to go from here. Thanks for any advice.

Toddler experiementing with making up stories. Should I worry? How do you know what to believe?

Okay, I came from a family with people who were so good to me that I never was abused or anything and neither was my sister. My uncle that I am going to mention in this story is the same uncle that was like a dad to us, that we spent the night with (him and my aunt) sleeping between them, and he treated us like his own kids. Okay, lately my son has been experiementing with making up little stories. Like, blaming stuff on the dog and telling me silly things that he knows isn't true just to get a reaction out of me. Also, lately, he has had an itchy butt. Just being what I thought was a protective mom, I asked him had anybody ever touched his bottom. Well, he said yeah. I said who. He said you. I said, no Avery I just change you (cuz that's all I do and bathe him) and so I said who and I started naming people (probably a mistake) he said my uncle. Okay, this freaked me out a little and I said what did he do and he said put a stick in my butt. I said put a stick in your butt???? and he said no, he put his finger up his butt. Okay, keep in mind my uncle isn't a perv and my child also told us today after peeing on himself that my grandma peed on him. lol (He is potty training). So, when he said my uncle stuck his finger up his butt it still worried me because I love my child more than anything and I wouldn't want to seem him hurt, but it just doesn't seem to add up. He is rarely ever with my uncle more than five minutes alone because we have a large family at my grandma's all the time and everybody when I told them, laughed it off saying he was making it up that my uncle isn't like that- which I would agree. Later, when I asked my son he said no it wasn't true. Then I asked him again and he said it was. Later he might say no. He is three. There are no signs of abuse and he loves my uncle to death. Should I just think of this as another one of his crazy stories? He has no signs of abuse what so ever, physically or emotionally. I just don't like that he said that. He probably wouldn't have said it, had I not asked him and named names. What do you guys think?

Diarrhea for 3 days now 31 weeks pregnant?

I've had diarrhea for 3 days now. I have no other symptoms. I'm 31 weeks pregnant and on modified bed rest for preterm labor. I have had contractions on and off but nothing too serious. I do not feel sick to my stomach and I am not running a fever. I am not lactose intolerant and do not change my cats litter box. I am 25% effaced but not dilated. The baby has been moving perfectly fine. I went to my ob office yesterday and I am in perfect health according to the midwife. I have increase mucous like discharge but my water has not broken. The baby is engaged. Am I getting ready to go into labor? Also, I was bottling my leaking colostrum since I think it'd be stupid to let it go to waste and giving to my toddler who is 21 months old (I have been just sitting with a bottle underneath my nipples to catch it I have not expressed it) but now it turned from yellow to clearish white so my actually breast milk is coming in. Is this labor? I was induced with my first so I don't know what the signs of labor are. OB office doesn't seem too concerned.

What kind of bug bite is this on my toddler's leg?

my 2 1/2 year old had what started out like a mosquitoe bite i guess. couple nights ago she woke up middle of the night whinning about her "booboo". but she was scratching it so i figured it was just a mosquito bite because she was outside the night before and, it felt like one. so i just rubbed the bump a little she went back to sleep. later that morning she said it was still itching so i put some witch hazel on it. that was the first time i had ever used witch hazel on her. couple hours later when she was playing i notice that it had turned into a blister. she said it hurt when it touched it. and i was wondering if maybe it was some other bug that bit her and was not a mosquito bite or maybe it was the witch hazel i put on it. when i checked it out again later that day it had popped. so i applyed some antibiotic ointment and a bandaid. so i have some pictures of what it looked like before and after the bilster popped. i have picture with the flash on and off. and i didnt crop so i hope they're clear enough to see. has anyone seen anything like this before and know what it might be? here is the link to the album http://s746.photobucket.com/albums/xx104/NicoleKi78/Nivie%20blister%20bite%20on%20leg/

Double dose of 15month toddler vaccines?

My toddler was scheduled for 18month well visit, They said he was due for 4 shots, a few days later I was reading over the vaccine paper work and come to realize I was pretty sure he had already received 3 of the shots at his 15month check up, and sure enough I called & he did! Is there any harm in receiving the DTAP, Polio , and the pneumococcal conjugate twice in such little time? & is there someone I can contact to report this??
