Husky toddlers pants..........?

My almost 3 year old is 41lbs, he no longer fits in size 2t pants, so I tried 3t, he does not fit in those either. The problem is 3t is already too long and if I go to a size 4, they will also be very long. Is there a size 3t husky out there ? or should I buy a 4 husky and get the pants hemmed ? Any ideas would be very helpful...thank you
