How did you get your toddler to eat real food, and not baby food?

Well, stop worrying and just feed him what he will eat - better then a child spewing everywhere. He will start being interested in your food at some point, just keep presenting your food not the baby food for older kids as it is tasteless, that is if he is normal. If he can not eat solid foods something else is going on, my oldest son ate purees almost exclusively until he was 5 years old and he went to occupational therapy to attempt to eat other foods once a week, even now he is kind of weird when it comes to eating, then again he has Asperger's (minimally affected autism). Really, just feed him balanced meals, which you can do with purees, he will grow out of it when he is ready and he isn't right now.
