Canadian Air Force, Army, or Navy?

If you want action and adventure, probably the army. Infantry or combat engineer would be the best for that, recruiting on both though is way down, so chances are low you could get in any time soon. The navy is good for travel, but you will spend months at sea. Pick the trade that interests you the most on the ship, boarding party is not a trade though, it is a position. Anybody can be on the boarding party, from cooks to technicians, but getting selected depends on your skills.
